March 20th, 2005: Troy Brooks joins Blue Rock

Troy Brooks is joining Blue Rock to take the lead guitar opening vacated when Micah moved to Akron. He's a remarkable young man with a great depth of talent, and we're confident you'll like him as much as we do. Be sure to come by Wild Bill's in Lebanon on Friday April 1st to give him a bog Wild Bill's welcome.

January 28th, 2005: Micah's last show with Blue Rock will be Feb 4th, 2005!

Micah Hoosier, our lead guitarist, will be leaving us shortly to pursue a professional opportunity with Guitar Center. Unfortunately for Blue Rock, he has to move to Akron to do so. Be sure to come by Wild Bill's in Lebanon on Friday Feb 4th to wish him farewell and good luck.

We'd like to thank everyone who voted for us in the 2004 City Beat magazine's Entertainer of the Year award. We've got the best fans in the world! We'd also like to offer our congratulations to the Comet Bluegrass All-Stars and all the other winners.

October 5th, 2004: TFBR nominated for City Beat's Entertainer of the Year!

Taylor Farley and Blue Rock was nominated as one of four performers for City Beat magazine's Entertainer of the Year in the Bluegrass division. We'd like to congratulate the other nominees, Ma Crow, the Rumpke Mountain Boys, and the Comet Bluegrass All-stars. We'd also like to congratulate the nominees of all the other divisions. Cincinnati's live music scene is alive and kicking, and these performers are just part of the reason why.

January 6th, 2004: Happy Birthday, Earl!

November 21st, 2003: Blue Rock opens for Leon Russell

Taylor Farley and Blue Rock open for Leon Russell, undeniably one of the legends of American popular music. The show took place at Covington's Madison Theater.

July 19th, 2003: Farmapolooza 2003 benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association

Blue Rock joins Flathead Sue, Danny Frazier, Gone South, the Del Rio Band and Randy Peak and Miss Heather to put on Farmapolooza 2003, a music festival to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, held at The Farm near Ross, OH.

June 15, 2003: A Father's Day tribute

May 11, 2003: Blue Rock rocks Pepsi Jammin' on Main

October 27, 2002: Blue Rock opens for the Charlie Daniels Band at Cincinnati Music Hall

Blue Rock was honored to open for the internationally-acclaimed Charlie Daniels Band at Cincinnati's historic Music Hall. The performance benefited the LifeCenter organ donation program.
